Brice Tabish @ The Pig 'n Whistle in Los Angeles

Brice Tabish will be performing live at L.A.'s famous Pig 'N Whistle on Hollywood Blvd, Saturday, January 16th 2010, and will begin his 40 minute set at 8:00PM sharp.

At one end of the spectrum Tabish has been hailed as the west coast's neoclassical-inspired prodigy. However, the scope of this talent cannot only be defined by his innovative and frenetic hard rock virtuosity. He shows the precocious breadth of his musical dexterity in the soulful, finger-picking, 'slow-hand' guitar work that's made him a welcome player at places such as Vancouver's famous Yale Pub.

Lymozeen @ The Mex Pub: May 16, 2009

Local guitar wizard, Brice Tabish, and his band LYMOZEEN are ready to hit the stage running this Saturday, May 16th. This long weekend The Mex Pub in Courtenay will be the your number one party destination as drummer extraordinaire Cam Strachan, and bassist Dan "The Demon" Montgomery return from University to rejoin Mr. Tabish on the stage for an evening of blistering rock music.

No strangers to the Comox Valley, LYMOZEEN has played nearly every venue in the region! One of their most talked about events in the Valley was this time last year when the group opened up for the legendary HEADPINS, and shortly thereafter won the Comox valley Battle of the Bands.

The band will be celebrating the release of Tabish's new signature guitar strings produced by San Francisco-based SFARZO STRINGS. Between his new strings, and the long-standing support from Mississippi-based PEAVEY ELECTRONICS, Tabish will be happy to demonstrate what he believes to be a winning combination.

Guitar Hero Competition

The Guitar Hero 3 competition during the Canada Day celebrations in Campbell River was a huge success! A good number of people registered to show their Guitar Hero chops infront of the Canada Day crowd downtown.

The winner received a Playstation 2, a copy of Guitar Hero 3, and a custom AG Riffmaster Guitar/controller provided by Peavey Electronics.

We'd like to thank everybody for coming out to watch or compete, and we'd like to thank Peavey for providing the cool gear and sponsoring the event.

NAMM 2008

Brice and Dave returned from an excellent trip to Los Angeles for this year's NAMM convention at the Anaheim Convention Center. They met up with the people from Peavey, some old friends, and made new friends with the nice people from Crimes of Passion.

December 5th, 2007:
Brice was asked to play outside the Rock 101 tent at GM Place before the Van Halen concert. The crowd was really responsive and either crowded around or watched from the cold people standing outside the security checkpoint. Check out the media below...

December 6th, 2007:
Lymozeen kicked off the night at Amberjack's Taphouse Pub in Surrey, B.C. Dan, Brice, and Cam joined Whiterock's Mary's Gunns and headliners Mad Shadow for a near-capacity crowd. The show went great and sounded awesome. Thanks to Martin for the great mix he did for Lymozeen. Thanks to Mary's Gunns for rocking hard, and to Mad Shadow for asking us to be a part of the show once again.

December 8th, 2007:
Lymozeen went down to The Yale Hotel and Pub in Yaletown, Vancouver to play at the Saturday afternoon Jam. Lymozeen was welcomed back by their friends at the Yale and had a great time playing the historic venue. They look forward to going back soon!

BRICE PLAYS THE ROCK 101 TENT @ VAN HALEN

Brice has been asked to play at the Rock 101 tent tomorrow (Wednesday, Dec. 5th) evening outside GM Place before The Mighty Van Halen takes the stage.

Brice will be showing off his David Lee Roth-era licks and solos and hopes to put on a good show for those in the area. Come on down and show your support!

Sunday July 22nd was a success!
The CR Musicians Trading Post-sponsored jam at the Elk's Hall enjoyed a near-capacity crowd to witness some history and Campbell River's Guitar Wizard Brice Tabish (www.lymozeen.com) joined Surrey's 'Rock and Roll Kid' Danny Sveinson (www.therockandrollkid.com) on stage for an evening of guitar pyrotechnics. Join teen guitar wizard Brice Tabish of Campbell River and Surrey's "Rock and Roll Kid" Danny Sveinson at the C.R. Musicians Trading Post sponsored Jam at the Elk's Hall on Sunday, July 22nd. The jam starts at 7:30PM and rocks through until 11:30PM.
Performing since the age of twelve, sixteen-year-old local Brice Tabish, of Lymozeen fame (www.lymozeen.com), has been wowing audiences from here to Maui. The last time the neo-classical inspired rhythms of Brice met the blues-rooted Sveinson was at the Yale Blues Club in Vancouver, B.C. where the boys left the audience standing on their feet hollering for more.
Danny Sveinson, the subject of the award-winning documentary "The Rock and Roll Kid" (www.therockandrollkid.com) has played everywhere from Campbell River to The Apollo Theater. Sveinson, at the age of 14, not only owns a Gibson Les Paul, but is one of the few who's had the privilege of playing with Les Paul himself. As well, Danny has been the opening act for April Wine, Honeymoon Suite, Colin James, and is the youngest performer to grace the stage of the Commodore Ballroom.
If you want to witness some rock and roll history be there early, as seating is limited. No cover charge. Must be 19 years of age to attend.

April 2007: New Shows

Lymozeen has just added three new dates to their lineup. They are as follows:

April 23rd: 'Pulse Youth Festival' @ Lewis Park in Courtenay.
The 'Pulse' is a youth festival aimed at providing a stage to different performers based out of the Comox Valley, with the exception of Lymozeen who is honored to be the only Campbell River based band performing. This year will be the second year Lymozeen will perform at the 'Pulse' festival, and the first time under their current lineup. Show starts at 7:30 in Lewis Park.

May 4th: 'Youth Got Live' Youth Festival @ Strathcona Gardens Ice Arena in Campbell River.
This festival will be a showcase for youth bands in Campbell River, with performances from other local bands. We will post a list of the other bands when we receive a list of the confirmed performers.

July 1st: Canada Skateboard Competition @ The Campbell River Skate Park
Lymozeen and others (to be determined) will be performing in between competition rounds at this year's Canada Day skateboard competition at the Campbell River skate park. This will be the third year Lymozeen will have performed at this event.

It's my birthday today. Happy 19th birthday to me!

I know this is kind of old, but it's a video of Herman Manderchuck playing "Cat Scratch Fever" at the last Cumberland Hotel show.

Other than that, the Lymozeen boys are practicing up and getting ready for the February 16 & 17 at the Cumberland Hotel. It's gonna be a good'er, so make sure you come on down.

Eat at Buca di Beppo. It was the most filling and delicious meal we've eaten on this trip so far. If you ever get the chance, do it. We ordered three dishes, all in the 'small' size, and it was so much. I don't think I'll be able to sleep on my stomach tonight.

Campbell River Lodge: Wrap Up

Both shows went off without a hitch.

Mackenzie Collins kicked off both evenings with a well received collection of acoustic numbers, again, proving his versatility and why he is the lead singer of Herman Manderchuck.

D-Grade tore it up Friday with a high-energy set including many of their originals, and ended the night with a crowd favorite; "Sweet Home Alabama."

After D-Grade Lymozeen took to the stage and did what they do best: Rocked the dust out of the rafters at the Campbell River Lodge.

Saturday night saw Herman Manderchuck kicking off the evening with a selection of classic rock tunes, executed with precision and enthusiasm. The near-capacity crowd truly came to life when they pounded out Golden Earring's super-hit, "Radar Love." The crowd was ready...

...For Lymozeen. Brice, Max, and Callum gave brilliant performances, wow-ing the enthusiastic crowd with their youthful exuberance. Right from the first note of Brice's opening "Eruption," to the high-energy display of guitar-wizardry in the closing bars of Black Sabbath's "Paranoid." One of their best performances to date, these boys did not miss a beat, and left the audience hollering for more.

D-Grade, Herman Manderchuck, and Lymozeen would all like to thank Ted and Sharon and all the staff at the Campbell River Lodge for allowing them a great venue to play, and for doing everything in their power to make it an enjoyable experience.

"The Garage" - Duncan Oct. 21st

Another road trip in the name of rock and roll.

"The Garage" in Duncan, B.C. hosted a great performance by D-Grade and Lymozeen. The two bands shared the stage and played their hearts out for a great, enthusiastic crowd.

If you've never been to "The Garage," put it on your to-do list. It's a great venue, perfect for all ages and all acts. Thanks to our friend Longevity John (the owner and promoter of "The Garage") for giving us, as well as many others, a place to play. We'd like to thank him and his team for creating a welcoming enviroment for performers to display their craft. You're doing a great thing.

Campbell River Lodge Oct. 27/28th

On October 27^th and 28^th Campbell River will be host to rock and roll history. Join Lymozeen for two nights at The Local with special guests D-Grade on Friday and Herman Manderchuck on Saturday. If you love real rock and roll this is the must see event of this millennium (or at least this month).

Friday’s opening act will be Duncan’s D-Grade. With an impressive list of venues ranging from The Edgewater Pub in Comox to The Steamer’s Pub in Victoria where they were recently awarded “Runners Up” in The Steamer’s Battle of the Bands competition. D-Grade will bring a blend of classic hits ranging from Stevie Wonder to Metallica as well as their own original material. Lymozeen will close the evening with a powerful selection of classics from the original metal god Ozzy Osbourne, and Black Sabbath.

D-Grade

Saturday night the silence will be broken with Campbell River’s new up and coming band “Herman Manderchuck.” After many years of honing their skills, this group of young men have postponed their university studies for one year in order to join forces and perform an eclectic mix of rock and roll hits with an enthusiasm and energy only youth can expel. If you like Steppenwolf, Motley Crue, or AC/DC you’re gonna love Herman.

Following Herman Manderchuck will be Lymozeen again, this time performing an upbeat set including everything from Roy Orbison’s ‘Pretty Woman’ to Peter Frampton’s “Do You Feel Like We Do” to Van Halen’s “Ain’t Talkin Bout Love.” Join lead singer/guitarist Brice Tabish and the boys for a high-energy evening you won’t soon forget.

Performances being at 8:15PM on Friday and Saturday. No cover charge. Must be legal drinking age to attend.

Port Hardy

We made it back in one piece. After performing at the "His Place'" Youth Center, Lymozeen and guest band Herman Manderchuck began the long journey back to Campbell River - not without first stopping at the local Chevron Station for supplies (Energy Drinks, Chips, Slurpees, and other health food items).

The show went great! We'd like the thank the "His Place" staff for making sure we were okay during the set up and tear down, and for making our time there enjoyable. It was a very cool venue, and provides a great service for the youth of Port Hardy. Both Lymozeen and Herman Manderchuck would love to play there again, and look forward to future involvement with the Port Hardy Youth Council.
